Cirque du Soir in Dubai
Lifestyle
Pragma Group, the Beirut-based lifestyle investment group, is set to launch an overseas branch of the London nightclub Cirque du Soir in Dubai next month.
The luxury hotspot will open its doors on 15 November at the city’s Fairmont Dubai hotel, featuring live performances from stilt walkers, burlesque dancers and fire eaters, the company said.
Joe Tabet, the executive chairmans said, that they want to combine “circus theatrics in a clubbing environment”.
Designer Stephane Dupoux, the name behind Buddha Bar in New York and Cocoon in London, has been hired to kit-out the club’s Dubai venue.
Cirque Du Soir opened in London at the end of 2009 and has been vibrantly glowing with its multi-coloured neon signed entrance in the heart of Mayfair. Guests are paraded with live circus performances from the Cirque Du Soir’s cast, which ranges from snake charmers and dwarfs, to contortionists and stilt walkers to name but a few. Along with an extravagant team of mixologist, performers and fancy dress all contained in a seductive burlesque atmosphere. Cirque Du Soir has indeed offered a new insight into the London, if not International club scene.
Now home to London’s elite and international clientele, celebrities and superstars from the music and film industry, Cirque Du Soir has become an infamous hangout spot for guests such as Usher, Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Pixie Lott, Scarlett Johansson Leonardo Di Caprio, Princess Eugene to name but a few.
Cirque Du Soir has been doing events in the finest clubs around the globe from Dubai to St-Tropez, through Monaco, Paris, Cannes, Porto Vecchio, Oslo, Riga, Hong Kong, Geneva and Cairo to name only a few.
